17 GMT +1 = 18 GMT.
There is no such valid notation as GMT +/- anything to show adjustments to GMT timestamping. Either ppl use GMT timemarking, or one of the American ones (or their local one) to show and agreen upon proper timesettings.
If one are living in a nation (eg. Denmark) that has GMT +1, then ppl either agree on the GMT timestamp OR on the local diverting. Thus 17 GMT are 18 Here in DK (cause we are GMT +1), and would be 12 (noon in some US based GMT -5 zone).
Seems to me that Germans think its German Mean Time, and Americans cant figure the 24 hour clock (you use that wierd (PM/AM) Post Morterm/American Mayhem times).
So could the real timeline please stand up, please stand up...............
